Responsibilities: Teach three undergraduate studio/lecture courses per semester in time-based media, web design, graphic design, history of graphic design. Participate in art foundations program (design, drawing, art appreciation). Advise students. Participate in faculty governance at all levels. This position is designated as security sensitive and requires the finalist to complete a criminal background check.
Qualifications: MFA in graphic design with emphasis in digital media. University teaching experience. Strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education and to professional involvement and exhibition. Thorough knowledge of computer technologies (Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Conceptual and aesthetic innovation. Practical knowledge of client/industry needs.
