MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Human Resources Department is to support the vision, goals and challenges of Midwestern State University by providing services which promote a work environment characterized by fair treatment of employees, open communications, personal empowerment, accountability, trust and mutual respect.

We provide leadership and guidance in the development, implementation, and equitable administration of policies fostering a positive work environment.  We seek and provide solutions to workplace issues that support the principles of the university.  We are responsive to the changing needs and expectations of the community we serve by providing exceptional customer service.  We value and promote honesty, integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, accessibility and teamwork.
