- Regular Building Hours
- Regular building use hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except holidays. This includes all buildings except Clark Student Center, Moffett Library, Pierce Hall, Killingsworth Hall, Marchman Hall, McCullough-Trigg Hall, Vinson Health Center, and Fain Hall which will have special schedules of normal hours filed with the Administration.

- Heating and Cooling
- Heating and cooling will be provided in a room or area of these buildings during these hours on a regular basis only if a schedule is provided to the Physical Plant in writing each semester. No special approval will be required.
- Special arrangements for heating or cooling may be made by calling the Physical Plant if the hours requested are within the hours listed in Item A or an approved scheduled activity is listed on the Master Calendar and is outside the hours listed in Item A.
- Any request for heating or cooling for hours other than those listed in Item A, B, and C must be in writing and approved by a member of the President's staff at least one week before the scheduled event.
- Memorial Hall computer area and Bolin Hall constant temperature room and animal room will be controlled without any scheduling from the using department.
- Faculty, staff, and students are required to adjust the locally controlled thermostats to maintain a temperature no cooler or hotter than those specified by the President of the university. They are also required to keep all windows and doors closed at all times. Lights should be turned off both day and night in areas not in use. No portable heating device will be used in any university office/facility without the approval of the Physical Plant Director.
- The domestic hot water temperature will be lowered to a maximum of 105 degrees F. in all buildings except residences and the Ligon Hall as specified in the Federal Register published June 1, 1979.
- Student Use
- No student will be permitted the use of the buildings anytime except those hours listed under Item A unless accompanied by a faculty or staff member.
- All students using the buildings must be instructed by the responsible faculty or staff member to be out of the building no later than the building closing time listed under Item A.
