Campus Card

  1. General

    The Campus Card is the official identification card of Midwestern State University and may be used for a variety of campus access options and may be used as an optional ATM/Debit Card. The Campus Care is available to faculty and staff in accordance with the following procedures.
      1. Faculty/Staff


      2. All full-time, benefit-eligible employees of Midwestern State University are eligible for a Campus Card. The Campus Card is a permanent card and requires no validation. Campus Cards areissued in the Campus Card Services Office. A letter of verification of employment from the Human Resources Department and a government-issued photo ID are required prior to issuing of a Campus Card. The letter is to include the employee's name and social security number.
        When a faculty or staff member terminates employment with the university, the Campus Card Will be returned to the Human Resources Department.

      3. Adjunct Faculty/Graduate Assistants

          1. Adjunct Faculty/Graduate Assistants are eligible for the same Campus Card benefits as regular;
            faculty;staff.A letter of verification of employment from the appropriate dean or the Office of;
            the;Provost is required prior to the issuing of; a Campus Card. The letter is to include the;
            employee'sname,social security number,and dates of employment. The Campus Card will be
            validated inaccordance with the specific dates ofemployment.

          2. Graduate Assistants will be issued a card designated as "Student."

          3. When an Adjunct Faculty employee terminates employment with the university, the Campus Card
            will be returned to the hiring department. Graduate Assistants no longer serving in this capacity may
            retain possession of the Campus Card provided they remain enrolled as a student.

      4. Retired Faculty/Staff

    A new I.D. card is issued when a faculty or staff member retires from MSU. These individuals are eligible for the same privileges as regular employees.
  2. Lost or Stolen Campus Cards
      1. Lost or stolen cards must be immediately reported to the Campus Card Services Office. Suspended
        cardsmust be presented to the Campus Card Services Office for reactivation during strated office hours.


      2. The replacement fee for lost, stolen, or damaged cards is ฤ.00.


      3. Replacement of a card when there is a change in cardholder status (e.g., student to staff, staff
        faculty,etc.),due to change of name, or change of identification number is free. The previously issued card
        must be presentedforan exchange in order to waive the ฤ.00 fee.


      4. Any replacement fee assessed may be paid with Maroon Money funds, cash, check, or credit card.
