4.149 President's Office
OPEN RECORDS AND PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

In accordance with the Texas Government Code, Section 552 (Texas Open Records Act) all persons, unless otherwise expressly provided by law or the written policies of this institution, shall be entitled at all times to full and complete information regarding the affairs of Midwestern State University. The Texas Open Records Act should be referred to for specific information with regard to right of access to public information, information excepted from required disclosure, and procedures related to access. Additionally, Policy 4.185 of this Policies and Procedures Manual should be reviewed for information relating to Public Records Charges.
