POLICE OFFICERS AT SPECIAL CAMPUS FUNCTIONS

Special functions on MSU property requiring police officers to be in attendance shall adhere to the following procedures:
- University Organizations
- Functions sponsored by any MSU department, club, fraternity, sorority, Student Government, University Programming Board, or other group shall, ten (10) days prior to the activity, contact the University Police Department to make arrangements to have the number of officers requested. A Midwestern State University account number must be given to which the cost of officer(s) overtime will be charged. If no account number exists, the estimated amount of the charge shall be deposited in the Police Department account with the Business Office prior to the event.
- Non-University Organizations
- Functions sponsored by organizations which have leased MSU property that are not associated with a university group, but are required by university policy to have police officers in attendance, shall make arrangements through the University Police Department to obtain police officers.
