- General
- It shall be a violation for any person to solicit or sell to individual students, faculty or staff at any time on the property, campus or grounds of the university except in those cases where specific authorization has been extended by the President of Midwestern State University. The distribution of handbills or sales promotion literature on university property is also prohibited.

- Authorization
- Salespersons or vendors may obtain authorization from the Vice President of University Advancement and Student Affairs to sell or display merchandise at a designated location on the MSU campus. The charges for the rental of space will be in accordance with university policy.

- Advertising
- Salespersons and vendors may advertise in the student newspaper, The Wichitan, but may not post notices on campus bulletin boards other than those designated by the university.

- Distribution of Leaflets The university Post Office will distribute leaflets pertinent to the university community for a fee of $25.00 unless prohibited by Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board policy. Leaflets must indicate a discount to university faculty, staff and students.

- Vendors are authorized to transact official university business in other campus locations only at the request of the responsible university office or employee.
