FUND ACCOUNTING

  1. Accounting Records
    The Controller's Office shall maintain accounting records on all funds of the university in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.


  2. Deposits
    All funds which are deposited with the university, regardless of source, shall be accounted for as funds belonging to the university.


  3. Receipts, Custody and Disbursements
    The receipt, custody, and disbursement of all funds shall be the responsibility of the Controller's Office and shall be received, maintained and disbursed in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws and policies of the Board of Regents.


  4. Purchasing Policies
    All purchasing policies established by the Board of Regents and the State Purchasing and General Services Commission shall be rigorously enforced.
