4.179 Administration & Finance CONSULTANTS Date Adopted/Most Recent Revision: 2/11/00 Midwestern State University will abide by Tx Govt Code, Chapter 2254, Professional and Consulting Services, with regard to the hiring of consultants. To ensure compliance with this statute, no individual, department, program, or organization which is a part of Midwestern State University shall retain or engage the services of a consultant for any university purpose without the prior approval of the President of the university. Prior to commencing any work, a copy of the consultant's contract MUST be provided to the Vice President for Administration and Finance. This contract shall set forth all terms including length of the consultant engagements, purpose of the employment, cost of the consultant's engagement, and the funding source for the contract.
